**Happy Tears** The phone rang, What can I do to help my Dad get ready for his next bassets? I want to make this happen. The plot was laid, the game on. "Dad - set aside 10/2/24 for a Daddy-Daughter Date". Jasper & Sofia were ready. I am PROUD to announce the Gotcha for Foster Forever Day!! Tears over ATB Hounds, Smiles at drool and snuggles, lots of snuggles. It's always hard to adopt seniors, a bonded pair makes it even tougher but the joy they bring. Priceless. These two have a home under the ivories of one of our favorites - never to be in need again. Healing 4 hearts with one surprise trip? YOU BETCHA. Never underestimate the joy hounds bring into a home. Forever Loved. That IS the goal.

As we have traveled the rescue path of a pandemic and recovery, with all the increasing costs, supply chain issues and constant rescue need, we have remained true to our mission statement of providing the best for the hounds in need.

Our current licensing allows us to house 75 hounds daily, the constant need has kept our numbers at close to maximum every day. This has all come at an ever increasing cost. Fundraising has become harder, yet the daily costs continue to rise.

A very generous couple in celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary has pledged $50,000.00! We need to match that amount!

Your donation goes straight to work, helping all the dogs at Daphneyland. Thank you for caring about the animals! We are faced with a hundred hungry animals every day - not to mention vet care, etc.
